What made this project special to work on was the Client's commitment to actively engage in the decision making process on every part of the restoration, whilst simultaneously entrusting us, as Architects, to drive the project and to deliver a quality finish.

This same spirit of open dialogue and attention to detail ran through every aspect of the project, including the recasting of missing balusters, selecting the texture of the bronze toggle switches, and even deciding on the placement of William Morris wallpaper concealed behind restored window shutters.
These collaborative discussions helped determine all internal and external finishes and enriched the completed project. This project was enjoyable from beginning to end and a good example of how open conversation, rigour and trust can help deliver a project to a high standard.
