From the Architect:

This cabin floats above the established pond, reminiscent of traditional Scottish boathouses. There is a cantilevered viewing platform to experience the flora and fauna which inhabit the pond. Soaking in the wood fired hot tub whisks away any cares and immerses visitors in nature.

It is a self-build project by the client and a true collaboration between everyone involved and with real creative ingenuity; including towel rails crafted by Tim from copper piping. Services are visible so guests can see the veins and artilleries of the building so often hidden behind the interior walls.
