Fermín Beltrán, a Partner at Fife Architects, highlights that utilising an oak  frame structure was significantly more sustainable as it retains carbon throughout its lifespan, essentially achieving carbon neutrality for the extension.

Visiting the space 7 years on from our first meeting, is nothing short of overwhelming satisfaction. To see it in all its glory, being used as the additional functioning space Alison and Colin had hoped for. The space enables them to connect with nature, enjoy the peaceful surrounding as well as host family and friends/ They have struct a perfect balance of a relaxing and social space.
