Rather than a conventional rear extension, this design thoughtfully navigates a significant level change to seamlessly connect the home with its garden.  The transition from kitchen to garden room is carefully orchestrated, with steps, integrated shelving, and strong visual links enhancing the spatial flow.  The judges were particularly impressed by how these elements work together to create a dynamic and engaging connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
